About Care for St Anne’s

Care for St Anne’s was launched in 1978 under the Rectorship of Rev. Christopher Idle and registered as a charitable trust in 1984 (registration number 288889).  The organisation was formed to preserve and maintain St Anne’s for the future, an aim that continues to this day.

What we do

Our remit to preserve Hawksmoor’s Limehouse masterpiece for future generations is as relevant today as it was when the organisation was first established.  We remain committed to the restoration and maintenance of St Anne’s and we are currently fundraising to install a lift, giving step free access to all areas of the building.
